The First ROM You Downloaded and Played on Ouya

So, as the title says folks, what was the first ROM, or old school game, you loaded onto your Ouya - was it the one you'd be waiting for an age to play once more, the one you couldn't complete when you was younger, or the one that you knew would still be amazing to this day?

Mine personally was Sheep, Dog n' Wolf for the Playstation 1 - or, as it's known in America "Sheep Raiders". I LOVED this game when I was a kid, literally, but could never for the life of me remember the name. So when I heard you could load PS1 Roms onto the Ouya I extensively searched and found the name of the game.

Hurrah!! Until I couldn't find a ROM for it.. but that was until more searching led to me finding that it was named "Sheep Raiders" in America and luckily I found it!

It's a Looney Toons game where you play as Wolf in a "game show" style hosted by Donald Duck, where you have 18 (+2) challenging and puzzling levels aiming to get a Sheep from under Sam the Sheep Dogs flock into your goal, using amazing little gimicks from the A.C.N.E inventory (those that remember Road Runner will know A.C.N.E).

An amazing game, and still its puzzling me to this day..

Here is level 1 for you to enjoy, and maybe get yourself!

So what was yours then? And why that game?

The first ROM I threw onto my OUYA was the translated Mother 3 ROM.

I had always wanted to see it on the big screen and was thrilled to finally get a chance to see it on something bigger than a tablet.

I tried the legend of zelda: four swords (gba) but I couldn't connect the ouya to my phone so I didn't play.

Ninja Gaiden, one of the bestest gamers I ever played in my childhood.

Hours and hours playing in my Nes (clone) to beat this amazing game!

Right now I'm trying to beat the game again, but it is pretty damn hard! ^^

The girlfriend loaded up this as well, I always just sit back in amazement as she murders it haha She uploaded a video of her playing through the first several levels without taking damage. You might get a kick out of it if you like the game as much as she does:

Personally I loaded up Little Nemo because apparently I wanted to tear my hair out

I think it was LUNAR Silver Star Story Complete for PS1, but I really can't recall since emulation hasn't really been my main priority on OUYA.

The last game I can remember emulating though, was TMNT Tournament Fighters, It's a very good Street Fighter style Ninjas Turtles game, I recommend the SNES version to anyone wanting to try it out, as the Genesis version didn't have as good of characters or controls.

    Pokemon FireRed for the GBA
It's the remake of the first Pokemon Red (only generation 1), which I played to death.
