Minigore 2: Zombies - Mountain Sheep

After seeing decent success with Ice Rage on OUYA (it has sold around 4000 units) we decided to port our iPhone dual-stick shooter Minigore 2 for OUYA as well. The whole process took about one month as we had to add controller navigation to the menus and all that stuff but it's great to be able to play the game with a controller!

Addictive, but short free to try Demo. However that's a good thing. It asks you to buy, and you know you want to. Because you want more of that good stuff and an hour's wait isn't going to cut it.

Only issue I found with this was when I exited the game and tried to come back to purchase it after trying another Zombie game released at the same time. All I got was a blue screen and the game wouldn't load.

Only way around that was to Force Stop in the Android App list and clear the data. Then I was able to get back in.

Used to love Minigore 1 on my iphone 3GS way back...
Will check it as soon as I get the time, but in the meantime could you elaborate a bit about monetization?
What comes in the free-to-try portion and how much does it cost to unlock the whole thing (And what does the "whole thing" include?)
Also, are there multiplayer options? Local? Online? I suppose co-op but is there a PVP option as well?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

It's a very short 300 second demo. Effectively the whole game is already there. But 300 seconds mowing down zombies with machine guns, sabres, axes and giant hammers only gets you so far.

$4.99 unlocks the game and you will not be able to replay the game for an hour or purchase if you do not purchase at the end of the demo and you decide to exit instead.

From what I can tell. As you slay, you collect coins for several weapons and about 7 more levels (Arenas) to unlock in the game, giving you some stable progression. Can't seem to see any options for multiplayer, although I might be missing something there.

I will be honest. You can tell this is a mobile game by design. But you end up not caring about that. Because Zombie killing is fun and satisfying and it never gets old. Plus as you level up it gets tougher and even more satisying.

It's like a much better and nicer presented version of Ballistic really and gets crazy hard before long. But you get the urge to play again once you die. Although no chance in dying in less than 300 seconds... unless you're rubbish.

It should be noted that this game crashes on boot ALOT unless you turn off Dont Keep Apps in developer settings.

Oh god I'm tempted...I love zombie stuff and my girlfriend loves sheep.

Will download the demo (if my OUYA's HD allows me); this game looks super fun but question if it's really worth the $5 compared to other games.

Can anyone confirm or deny if theres multiplayer? Any extra modes?

I think there comes a point in time when towns just have to enforce mandatory cremation. Sure, I can come along and kill hundreds of zombies for them, and I have a great time doing it, but if you just keep putting bodies in the ground, the zombies are going to keep coming back and I can't always be there to kill them.

And what's with all the bloody rabbits? Are they just killing them and dumping them in a big hole in desecrated land? It's crazy.

Sometimes I wonder if these people take zombie control seriously, or even consider it at all.

Seems like a straight port, no new features added other than controller support. I could be wrong though since I'm only playing the demo portion.
Great game, played it on my friends iPhone a couple of times.
    Signature Pending...

Very fun game! After the demo finished I immediately purchased it. I recommend it for someone who loves killing zombies. It was worth every penny
