    PSX emulator that saves?

Anyone know of a PSX emulator that saves your games?

I tried retroarch and it runs the games fine but wont save them
(I was playing Suikoden 2 and even though I saved at the inn and the game actually showed a saved game file there, when I reloaded the game the next day it said there were no saved games. I tried this 3 times to be sure and each time it said no saved games when I tried to load)

I tried the other PSX emulator on the ouya store but deleted it after 5 mins as the constant onscreen nagging for me to but it, drove me mad.

    Any others I can try?

ePSXe is the best emulator for Playstation One games. It will save and run games the best out of any emulator out there. Unfortunately you have to side-load it. Here's a guide on how to side-load and check your private messages...

Yeah, the sideloaded emu is much better than the rip off version at the OUYA store. It might not be as pretty, but at least you can save games and the controller settings, so you don't have to input them EVERY time you load it up.

ePSXe has been around for a long time now, I've been using it before Android and iOS was even an idea. Totally the best and also free emulator out there for any platform it supports.
    Signature Pending...

I agree that epsxe is great..but fpse has worked great for me with the open gl on also. At first it was a pain but when I switched it to open gl restarted it and (only) checked the frameskip to on everything worked fine never messed with any other setting. Only game that runs a bit slow for me is crash team racing. Am I the only person the fpse emulator works for?

Edit: I do have the dam start and select button issue but it saves and the cheats fetcher is awesome
