    Choplifter HD - inXile entertainment

In Choplifter HD(TM), you play the role of an up-and-coming rescue pilot recruited by an elite, international helicopter rescue team. Pilots are trained to command a variety of helicopters and weapon systems deployed on more than 30 different missions. Missions range from prisoner-of-war extraction to demolition runs and even rescuing survivors of viral outbreaks. Pilots must master evasive maneuvering as well firing guns and missiles, sometimes even shaking off clinging zombies to make a rescue and complete the mission. Developed and published by inXile Entertainment, Choplifter HD(TM) dares players to risk their lives to rescue others.

Well, it's a free demo and from a good developer, so I'll probably give it a shot, but just the name 'choplifter' brings back some bad memories from my youth. I really don't see how complicating its mechanics will help matters, but maybe they've also somehow managed to make it fun in ways screenshots don't necessarily show.

IMO, choplifter's an odd franchise to choose to bring back.

So this is the game you were talking about. It actually looks pretty good. I might give it a shot later on if I can remember...

I played the android version of this, and its pretty fun. I would put it up in the top 10 ouya games as far as production quality.

Two games on my "wish I had more room!" list:
    -Sine Mora
    -Choplifter

I even deleted a couple of paid games to try and get this one but it says 1.7 gigs isn't enough to run it's install

You gotta remember, the size the Ouya Store displays is the size of the APK, not the installed game. For example, XBMC is a 50MB download, but once installed it takes up 123MB, and so on .. Perhaps try deleting downloaded stuff ....

Deleted Bard's Tale (couldn't find this fabled external support on this one), Wraithborne, and a few other games in an attempt to make room -- nope.
Was hard deleting games I paid for losing my saves in them just to TRY and download a game and fail.

they need to just let us have the default Android storage options while they work on a new way to store the titles.
