OUYA not updating games anymore

Hi guys,

i just encountered a problem, that my OUYA didn't update some of my games that were updated the last few days (Gaurodan; Saturday Morning RPG, Retro Racer Combat ...). It shows that the games got updated like on August 19th or 20th but it didn't show the button to update game, only to start the game, and all games are still the old versions on my OUYA. Had to delete an redownload the games to get the updates...I guess its another time for FACTORY RESET! WUUUHUUU! Ouya is still soo bug infested...but hey, at least we've got now HUUUUGE Icons...

I've noticed this too. I've had games that needed to be updated but I never got around to it. Then all the sudden the option to update them disappeared but it's still running the old version of the game. Strange

i wonder if it's the company removing support for the game updates from now onward or just an update issue of some kind,it wouldn't be a surprise if they make updates chargeable if they contain new extra features and content in a bid to earn extra dosh to be fair, although it's not likely that would be the case,but it is a very faint possibility.

It's most likely do to not enough space, or too many games installed. Try to download something else and see what happens.

This is what it was for me. If your Ouya thinks it's running out of space, it won't let you update. :/

My games are updating normally (Garoudan was updated yesterday), I have about 1 GB of free space.

I'll try freeing up some space when I get home and see if I start getting updates.

I think Ouya was having issues related to dos attacks and their games page wasn't working. The discover section was also showing duplicates in the genre section and any downloads took forever. That's when I was no longer getting updates.

It's still a bit flaky now but works since the ouya.tv games page is back up and the discover section is working properly.
