Just got an Ouya today from Gamestop. I figured out how to install Netflix (3.0) by sideloading it though browser. Now I'm trying to figure out what version of XBMC to get. Obviously not the one from the Ouya store cause it's missing some decoders. But reading through threads, I get confused by all the dev names being thrown around and different versions.
So which is the best to get right now? I dont need surround sound, but I'd like it to show up in the "Play" menu and have controller support, and have all the decoders to play whatever I need. I've read about version 12.3.2 was the last official version before they removed some decoders. That sound like a good one to get? If so, anyone have a link?
SPMC is the one to use.

Yes, spmc supports mysql central dB, like every xbmc.
Using it myself.
Hey everyone I just got an OUYA mostly because of the awesome reviews with it and XBMC. I've tried like 3 different versions and each version stutters really badly. I've tried v12.3.1 from the OUYA FREE facebook site. I've tried the latest Gotham Alpha(Alpha8) and even the current one in the official store. Each one stutters like crazy. I have it hooked through Ethernet directly to my router and playing files off of my NAS. I will give the one riceandfajitas mentioned above a try tonight, however is there anything else I should try first? Is there any way to troubleshoot the stuttering? One time the XBMC from the OUYA store did play an HD video without stuttering, but every file after that went back to stuttering. I've spent hours trying to get this all to work. Any advice would help thanks.
Best one I have found. Its Gotham alpha 7 I believe. Have not updated from it since July. Keyboard does not work but otherwise streams all media perfect for me.

And here is a link to XBMC Hub with steps for configuring it.

About the stuttering, I think someone said earlier in this thread that will happen if you are using the network jack. Try just using WiFi instead.

I've tried using the official 12.3.2 and the SPMC 12.3.3, and can't get the context (right click) menu to work while using the Xperience 1080 skin. Is there an option I'm missing?
