It runs fine if you selected arial / teletext though albeit unreadable due to missing glyph. Not sure if building apk with renamed font included 'd make any different.
Thanks. In the meantime, I fixed font loading and tested with another font (Garota.ttf or something) and Thai subtitles did show up.

    Will be included next release.

If you TV is not HDMI-CEC capable, I recommend using flirc (http://flirc.tv/). It's not 100% stable on android, but they are working on it.
Why not just use the Android XBMC remotes? They run via Wi-Fi, no?

Oh sure, they run perfect. I just personally prefer to have physical buttons and not having to look at the remote.
But feature-wise, the various app-based remotes are unbeatable.

Video playback without heat generating is possible, just not yet with xbmc. There shouldn't even be a need for the fan to run, but this is because we don't have 100% hardware acceleration yet. There are alternatives that only uses the gpu and never even start the fan, though not as convenient as the XBMC gui.

Koying, thanks a ton for doing this port. It's very professionally done and is very much appreciated!

What kind of surface have you had your Ouya on Urban? I've found the heat builds up higher & quicker when the Ouya is sitting on wood & it stays a lot cooler when it's on glass, I've been reliably informed that the glass conducts the heat away better than wood.

so plex works fine but my wife likes xmbc but ever since I started using it the sound is out of sync with the video. I don't have this problem on plex so it's not a source or bandwith issue. any help?

On a wood shelf , now I have it on his side , much better about 5 degrees Celsius and hopefully no crashes anymore.

xbmc has a adjustment to sync the sound with the video.
