Hello, I've been using XMBC for a while with my Ouya, but am not terribly saavy on the various settings, troubleshooting steps, etc. I've used it without much issue for a long time, but a few months ago I started experiencing a problem. I believe it may have started happening after an update?
What happens is, I am watching anime from my flash drive and sometimes parts of the screen will get pixelated or go magenta or bright green. It doesn't happen all the time, but only on some series. Because the problem tends to persist in all episodes of the same series, I wonder if it might be a file type issue? But I haven't been able to nail down one file type. My partner, who knows a little more about XMBC than myself, says that the issue might be with the codex, but to be honest I'm not sure what that means.
I tried looking through past posts in this thread to see if anyone has the same problem, but didn't see any while I was skimming through. Does anyone know any steps I can take to fix this issue? Much appreciated!
[Edit] Oh, and as an afterthought, my Ouya was among the first commercial Ouyas because I pre-ordered, and the version of XMBC that I have was downloaded directly from the Ouya Discovery list.
