Can you let us know your ouya's temperature

Just wondering if people might be able to give the temperatures they get before and/or after gameplay or video playback please, as nowhere seems to tell you this online, just use the android tuner app to do this it can be sideloaded .It would be interesting to see what people find these temperatures to be in idle and under load with an indication of how long they were used for before the test would be advantageous to.

I'd like to add that since i did the super sized shim mod and running the 5v fan mod, i left my ouya for 2hrs 4mins in android tuner app in the cpu menu and the temperature hit 42c, it sat for 2hrs at 41c before rising 1c.
Also i found this app reads this 42c most times in idle mode on cpu menu in android tuner app any way as far as i can tell, but from a cold boot i get 30-32c rising to this which it barely goes over if left for a couple of hours,i may soon leave it overnight to see a result though.

The hottest I seen from running xbmc all day (in a hot room) is 48c (120f).

The hottest I have ever seen it playing a game is around 70-71c (160f), again in a hot room.

I'm not sure how accurate xbmc temp reading is, but that is what I used in both accounts.

Yeah i was expecting around this temperature mark it's got to be a very robust chip to take that on the chin and keep going day in day out then. Thanks for this reading mate it's very much appreciated.

That rings a bell actually, before i shimmed my ouya i remember it hitting 55c after going through the channels and menu/s for a while, but i assume within movie playback this temperature must significantly rise.A way to check the temperature onscreen during movie playback would be a great tool in a version of xbmc one day maybe this will happen, i hope so any way. Thanks mate good information as it does help to build a profile of the ouya's temperatures in general.

Can't believe i missed this, what temp reading in xbmc? How do you use that feature please? Also if someone can do a temp reading with android tuner app would be more equal to compare with, asandroid tuner app i have been using for temperature testing and not xbmc.

Thanks for the xbmc temp reading guide mate your a star

Great mate thanks for that reading and it's clearly as i suspected temps to reach at peak during load or testing after dropping it straight out of load into a heat test.

check this out guys my new little fan mod works exceptionaly well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YXPGBWxVKsJust to add guys i played gta 3 continuously for 55 mins and when dropping immediately out the game into android tuner it stated 45c and then dropped straight away in a second down to 42c which is astounding. Also i have looked into the xbmc temps and they match with android tuner guys, thanks for all the help, also looking at android tuner 58 mins in now after starting to cool down it's deviating between 40c and 41c at present

I wish I had taken the temp on mine before I sent it back. In the middle of updating some games the screen went black, the fan turned off, and the system became too hot to touch -- like a hot pot on a stove. After unplugging the system and letting it cool down for a bit I was able to restart it but I got it exchanged for a new one (it was a backer model).
