Please return the map, I understand the need to reduce clutter, but perhaps an option to toggle it (For example with the currently unused R3) would be possible?

Full game unlock is $4.99. Purchasing unlocks tier 2 and tier 3 skills, and the Genie boss fight plus all levels after it (the last 9 levels of the game, basically).

ITS OUT! HURRAH!
* Drops iPad and runs to OUYA to play *
Also, could you please tell us what's included in the free-to-try version and how much does it cost to unlock the full thing?![]()
Hey WesPaugh, really loving 100 rogues! Its brilliant. Ive always loved the concept of roguelikes and that coupled with the nice animations etc makes it a perfect game for me.
Just two questions...
When do you estimate multiplayer will be coming? And could you briefly let me know how that works with turn order etc? Sounds absolutely great and i cant wait to crack this open 4 player! That will literally make it a 10 out of 10 for me.
Multiplayer is, realistically, still a few months out, minimum, I'm afraid. I've learned a lot about how long it actually takes to do QA properly for a game, and it's a time-consuming task for one person. I've also got to give the iOS version some attention now as a consequence of *not* respecting proper QA procedure.
The way turn order will work is: all players get to take their turn, then all monsters react. The 'attack / movement' phase delineation will only apply to monsters. Players will all get to act first.
There's a chance this will change; to be honest, I've only done about 4 hours of playtesting with actual other human beings. It's worked well so far, and this is the best I've been able to come up with. If more playtesting suggests a different approach, I'll change it.
I'm really enjoying this. Played twice, killed the genie twice, only to get mauled by skeletons in the next zone.
This is a proper Roguelike. It wants to kill me, it saps my health constantly and I'm actually failing miserably as a new player. Just how I like it!
$4.99 well spent. It's what I've wanted and have been craving for on OUYA for quite some time now. It's brilliant!
EDIT: To be honest as well. This game lacking a map isn't that much of a big deal really. You spend most the first zone encased in limited vision before your vision lights up in the next. Sorta teaches you to deal with what you have at your disposal. Plus the lack of a map forces you to explore (and die) more.
So to be honest, as a Roguelike fan, I'm not missing the fact it isn't available.
