Every game needs to display if its 100% free, F2P (like O&C) with in game purchases (like in game currency, weapons, levels and so on), Demo mode with IAP (to buy the full game) and needs to list the price.

This is how they should have had it from the beginning.

If kids were to have the system, then they'd obviously have parents. It's not up to the kids at all because ultimately the parents will pay with their credit card. If you can't afford to pay for the games on the system then you should of spent your one-hundred bucks on canned food and MRE's instead of a game console that is an investment to keep you interested. A investment that cost money that you (for some reason) jumped in.

Furthermore, the point that you're making is completely incoherent as you're basically saying that since you don't have enough money due to being a kid and/or other reasons. That all the games should bend to your whim and be free or at least more free in a sense. If this is to be true, then this is one of the most blatantly retarded things I've ever heard on this forum. It's not how business works in the slightest so if you're going to continue with this campaign of yours, then I'd suggest at the very least working at multi-million dollar company and get a glimpse of it. Then maybe we'll take you seriously.

No don't do away with it! Just because it's free to try doen't mean they can't post the damn price of the full game in the description or something! I like to know what I'm buying before I hand anyone my hard earned money!

i dont even understand why we're even having this discussion. Its obvious ouya's not going to getting rid of its free to try feature, thats like one of its biggest perks, its hard for me to explain but thats like their go-to way to persuade people to buy their console. I do however agree that there should be a way for devs to display their price before you download. Description really isnt a place for a price.

Got a OUYA question? (tech or trivial) Private message me. I love to help people

Want a particular indie game on the OUYA? PM me the name of the game or the team who made it and I'll be happy to send them an email and PM you their response

The problem with putting the price in the description is that it could get out of sync with the actual prices, and devs aren't free to update their descriptions without an update, so no way to have sales. All OUYA would need to do is have an extra button on the details page that showed a list of the IAPs in the game. You'd basically get the IAP name and the cost of it. For example for one of my games you'd see "Flower Card Deck", "$0.99". I think that's enough to give people an idea of what they're in for.

Just require devs to note if it is a demo, free, or with IAP... that's the main deal for me. Showing the price right away is probably best too, but I'd rather know the general type (of purchase) than nothing at all.

Yeah!! Everybody loves free. You should work for free! I'll contact your boss tomorrow to see what we can arrange. I could also get you some spelling books... but, oh, wait! They aren't free... that explains your spelling.
