Just wanted to let everyone know about a first person shooter that we just released for OUYA.
It is called Crest of War and is currently in early beta. However it is still loads of fun to play
even though it has a few issues. We will continue to develop it and improve its game play.

the free version limits what guns you can use.

Really good game.controls feel like I am playing call of duty.just one gripe is the game needs brightens stages.or add a brightness adjustment.great guns.

Went 32 and 25 in my first and only game so far. Pretty nice shooter.

I know it's not finished, so a lot of this will probably change, but a couple things to mention.

* Would like to see some kind of Controls menu. No idea what the controls are other than the ones I accidentally discovered.
* The lightmaps are really... I dunno... they seem kinda dark, washed out, boring, etc. I suggest turning the Directional Light all the way up to 1 (by default it's at 0.5, so maybe that's what the problem is) to brighten it up, bring down the ambient level just a tad, and also crank up the Ambient Occlusion in the Beast lightmapper (trust me, it helps a ton to make in-shadow areas not look so flat)
* Square the right thumbstick axes. This gives things a more exponential scale, which makes finer aiming easier (as values closer to zero are mapped even smaller, but still smoothly increase to the full extent at the edges).
* Turn down the look sensitivity while aiming. Again, this would make aiming at people a lot easier.
* Is there any aim assist? If not, might want to look into adding some. Once again, aiming at people is a tad difficult (thumbsticks, after all, are not a high-precision instrument) and a little assistance would help. Of course some people might not want any, so perhaps add a setting to turn it off.

Otherwise, nice job. Much better feel/mechanics than that other FPS (CM:SWAT)

Online multiplayer FPS for Ouya. It's rough and in beta but it looks like it has real potential. I encourage everyone to look at it and potentially buy it to promote games like this.

Going to download/buy now but as a n00b some form of aim assist would be appreciated.

EDIT: Right now theres only one other guy on the map with me and every now and then another will drop in but holy crap this is fun! Purchased after 5 minutes and cant wait to see any updates. Aiming is a little difficult so some assist or better control would be appreciated but download this ASAP!

This could be the #1 OUYA game with more people playing it!

I don't use the ouya launcher and skip updated too. Just use your browser on the ouya and go here http://www.totalouya.com/apps-and-games/

Just download them there and sideload it. Since all games are free to pay everything is an in app purchase. So you can still bit the full game from within the game. You don't need the ouya launcher at all.
