Hello, on the PlayStation Vita, the accelerate button is "X" (keep it pressed), and the brake "O". If your using a Japanese console it might be reversed, not sure about this (as the Japanese validate is "O" rather than "X").

Just bought this today, when's the next update? I can't wait. One thing I did notice when playing is that the bike doesn't look like it's leaning enough to me, it would be cool to see the riders knee out and touching Tarmac as you fly round a bend.

    Thanks

For the next update, currently I'm re-writing / optimising my game engine so that it will be easier for me to make the major changes I'm planning to do (principally the split-screen local multiplayer, up to 4 players), and also, so that it will be easier for me to make new games using this same engine (I'm also working on a prototype for my next game on OUYA). So, for short, you'll have to wait quite a bit

New update live now ! Feature a better user interface in-game, and better graphics - rendering of the player, soft self-shadows, and the game run now in a higher internal resolution (720p rather than 540p before).

BTW, I did not complete the re-writting of my game engine as promised in my previous posts, because I'm shifting to Unity 3D, as I've been testing it since a few weeks, and found it very simple to use and powerful enough. So, my futur games will all be made using Unity ^^

Thanks to Kaimega's list, I downloaded this last night and had a blast playing it. I'm looking forward to completing the game in Normal mode and moving on to difficult. Purchased immediately, and the game reminded me of something my dad would play, so I made sure to encourage him to download the game and we'll definitely be playing it when I visit them in a couple of weeks.

Great game, and I hope you are able to generate a multi-player mode, but I think I'd want to pay you more for that option. Maybe a second paywall?

    Thanks for your support
I don't think I will change the price for Night Riders as I find that the current prices (1 or 2$) will encourage more gamers to play it. I might add a donation option for those who like the game and want to help me make more. I'm currently working on a second game, and definitively need support, for purchasing software licenses and assets (Unity3D).

The time limit is very tight.
Most arcade racers can be won even with a crash (or even two) during a full course, but on Night Riders it seems only a single slowdown makes it impossible to complete a leg of the course.

Not going to say this is necessarily bad, but it seems silly to let the player continue after a crash when it is pointless.
Demos. Don't let them try and more will buy; does it matter if they are happy?
The attitude the developer has displayed toward me by not providing a demo is reciprocated by me not patronizing them.
DRM. Insulting and punishing customers equals increased sales, right?
The attitude the developer has displayed toward me by requiring that I constantly prove I'm not a thief is reciprocated by me not patronizing them.

Well, it was already the case on Super Hang-On, where a single crash would make it impossible to complete the more advanced courses.

If you find the time limit too difficult, you can set the difficulty of the game to easy, this will give you more time, and less rival players.

Any news on another "big" update? I'm thinking scenery, cool crashes etc.
