There are specific criteria laid out for developers for selecting which age group their game falls under, the same as ESRB, though maybe not as comprehensive, so it's not just arbitrary.

Parental controls are a waste of code, the only people who use them are the ones who shouldn't have kids in the first place, especially if they have to rely on signs or apps to tell them when something is safe to use.

People from my generation had to use their wits & common sense to survive to adulthood, what are the kids of today going to do if someone removes all the safety signs? Mimic lemmings probably.

ESRB is also not universal, only used in N America. Europe (PEGI), Asia, and Africa all have different rating systems. Ouya's rating system seems to make it universal enough to be understood by all.

@Lucifertdark - while I do agree, on the other hand parent's aren't going to be watching their kids playing their video games (I know my parents didn't) The parental controls are good from blocking violent games for children because their parents can't be everywhere. This would be more aimed for those 6+ year olds who are playing games without supervision, and if the parent has a violent game on the console he/she is playing, they wouldn't want their kids to play it. On top of that, just telling your kid "no" won't do nothing, their curiosity will be peaked and they will have to see what that game is all about.

This latest update seems to have helped out my wifi issues greatly. The buffering problems on xbmc have been non-existent since I updated two hours ago. I have multiple ouya consoles and the improvement is seen on both.

Haven't tested Ethernet.

testing out ethernet I tried playing a trailer from apple trailers from xbmc and it played for about 20 sec then crashed, A little better than the last update but still not there.

That's what I was wondering. Thanks for reporting on this issue. If it's ever fixed, it will probably be by accident just like how it was broken...

Explains a lot, though I'm not one to talk. I used to rip heads off from my toys and sometimes hang them around the house. Mostly from the window where you can tie the weird pully thing that slides the shades up. Used to love doing that......

Lol we use to find small bugs, step on an ant pile so all the ants go crazy, and toss the helpless bug into the ant pile and watch the ants destroy the bug! D: it was alot of fun... I may do that today when I get out of work lol

My ouya is not connecting to my mac properly after this update. I can't sideload anything. The folder pops up on my desktop and then when I drag a file to it, it tells me to reconnect or restart my device. very pissed off right now.
