This is kind of a poor way to run an auction, since bidders are incentivized to wait until 8/10 9:59AM before entering a bid. Otherwise, we needlessly drive up the price.

There are lots of ways to fix this, but the simplest would be to simply say that the auction will end at some randomized time on 8/10.

Thanks for the advice. We will probably do something like this for the next one. I have added this to the end time though: (end time will be extended 5 minutes after the last bid), and I changed the end time to 9:00 AM EDT.
