Ok, this is how we are doing it for the first Game of the Week. We'll see how things go.

This will be done in an auction format.

For featuring your game as the game of the week, you will get:
- Your game featured as the "Game of the Week" for the week of August 12-19, 2013. The title of your game will be displayed on the main page of our site - see image below

- You will have a thread created in the "Game of the Week" folder, and that will be the only thread that is open for posting in that entire folder. In this thread, you can ask for feedback on certain aspect of your game, include a poll, or just ask random game related questions. You could even offer some sort of contest (high score contest, etc), and award the winner a prize. It's all up to you.
- We suggest that you offer some sort of discount/sale on your game during this time, but it is not required.
- We will blast the "Game of the Week" over all of our social media outlets, multiple times during the week.
- Your game will be the game that we suggest everyone on the forum download and play during the week.

This could be the key to getting your game out of the sandbox, or to increasing sales for your game exponentially.

How to Apply
Like I mentioned above, this will be done in an auction format. The starting bid price is just $10.00. That's right, for $10.00 you could have your game featured as the Game of the Week, if no one outbids you.
Bid increments should be in amounts of $5.00. This means that if someone currently has the bid for $10.00, the next bidder must bid at least $15.00.
In order to bid, simply reply to this thread with your bid. I will try and update this (first) post with the current high bid.

The auction will run from today, August 2, 2013 - August 10, 2013 at 9:00 AM EDT (end time will be extended 5 minutes after the last bid).
