Most of the time I keep my OUYA offline: please consider it before inserting a phone-home/always online DRM in your game. If you still plan to do so, please declare it. You don't want pirates, I don't want to be frauded.

I'm quite into Prison Architect (available on Steam) on my Linux PC! It's a Sims/ Dwarf Fortress inspired take on prison management, complete with guard patrols, riots and smuggled goods. Right now it's in Alpha, and I find it a little too easy - then again, I didn't go for the 200 prisoner challenge yet...![]()
I have no idea how I should beat the last boss in Dust... It's my absolutely worst kind of boss as well. Tedious, slow, underwhelming and with four million different phases - and of course no check point between them. Fail at the last one and you'll be back at the beginning.
With proper gear (like... the best in the game) it would be a bit easier, but I don't have the patience to go back and grind for hours to be able to afford those things. The whole situation reminds me a lot of the final boss in Final Fantasy 7. Same thing there, I was slightly underleveled and couldn't be bothered going back to grind.

I don't know when the full release is due, but the Alpha is solid. So far the only issue I've encountered is that on some prisons I start the workers sometimes have pathfinding-problems when installing cables and pipes. On others, everything goes smoothly. The gameplay is already pretty rich (contraband, resocialization, visitations, ...), although I must say there's not a lot to do once you have a medium sized prison up and running. Building it even bigger is a little repetitive (and when you make 5000 cash every day, why should you expand?), and starting fresh is only fun for the first 3 times or so.
Then again, that's of course the curse of every micromanagement / structural simulation game and was the same case with Sim City or Rollercoaster Tycoon. Once you have it up and running, what do you do? I must say, though, I find it pretty pricey. I had it on my wishlist, and got it during a sale.
