    Addiction - Borja

    Hi, everyone

I recently created and published a short game called Addiction., an abstract metaphore about some personal issues I had to deal with in the past.
I think lots of people will feel identified with it (if I haven't made the mechanics too subtle, which would be entirely my fault), so I want to share this with as many people as possible.

The main strenght of the game lies in it's gameplay, and thus the other aspect of game production (sound and graphics) have been set to the barest minimum.

It's free, and it takes less than 5 minutes to play (though some replays might be necesary to grasp the represented concepts). For the full explaination of the meaning of every mechanic, please head over to this blog.

    I hope you enjoy it.

    Best Regards,

    Borja (KerithDev)

Interesting game but it needs a better in game tutorial; the only instruction is "Move LS and press O", what is "LS"?

I tried it a few times; had no clue how to play, if I was winning or loosing or what not. I had to read the blog posted just to know how to play the game but the very act of reading the blog kinda spoils the meaning of the game.

LS is a common abbreviation for "left stick" in video games...

Got it! I don't know where my head was! The game just confused me at first and that was the only instruction so I didn't interpret LS for it's obvious meaning; I was moving the left stick around left and right while pushing the O button and couldn't make sense of the game and just got confused as all heck till I read the blog. I kept thinking LS must have stood for whatever the goal of the game was because it was the only instruction and the controls were easy to figure out. It's a pretty fun little game with and does make it's point quite well.

I suspected the game would be confusing at first... maybe I sould make the intsructions (controls, etc) clearer, so that the player can really focus on the meaning.
Thank you for the feedback, and most of all thank ou for playing the game. I'm glad you ejoyed it.
