I played a Nyan Cat game on my Ipod Touch and it was addictive. I'll have to give this a try.
The first official Nyan Cat game has been released on Ouya! I co-created this game with Nyan Cat creator Chris Torres back during the image's sudden jump to popularity. We intended to create a simple, fun, quick game to make Nyan Cat more then just an internet meme, creating new characters and enemies like the ever-supportive Love Bot and, my personal favorite, Fiesta Dog.
The free download gets you the original set of characters and 2 modes. In Nyan Stop, which is an interactive version of the famous video, and Ice Cave, in which you fly through a frozen comet, avoiding ice ice sickles that push you back toward the dreaded, deadly, end of the screen. For $1.99 you unlock 2 new game modes, Sky Attack, which plays like a side-scrolling shoot-em-up without the shooting-em-up, and rainbow ride, where you ride a jet stream away from an exploding star's blast wave.

I wonder if it was mine. iOS was the original release platform for this game. Android followed nearly a year later after I finally got my hands on an Android device.
lol Awesome. I like the Pop Tart cat. I think it should've been a Bagel Bite instead but whatever... It's still cool.
It's not every day you hear somebody call him "Pop Tart Cat". That was the original title of the animated gif, but the youtube video popularized the name "Nyan Cat" pretty quickly.
If it has the original music I'm all in!
That's one of the big complaints we got, but unlike many unauthorized games that don't respect the musician's intellectual property and get away with it, we had two covers you'll only hear in this game created instead. It's the same tune you've come to expect, but not exactly the same. I personally prefer the "8-bit" music, which I find much more energetic. You can change the background music in the options menu.
It was a different one where you jump from platform to platform. This one seems more solid overall. Played a little of it while I could and I love the 8-Bit rendition. It brought new life into the song.
