i am not a person that uses a bunch of forums and tries to comment on everything. however, i have been somewhat active here for the last week or so. i guess it is the "new car smell" of the ouya and all the possibilities (and my lack of knowledge about a thing).

anyway, i am 100% against "pics in signatures" and "animated avatars" (if that means something like gifs).

that kind of stuff is really distracting! i generally hide those things with the ad blocker, but for someone that doesnt spend a whole lot of time on forums, it is a real turn off to be blasted with high intensity graphics if i am just dropping in to get a question answered! and, no offense, but its the people that have 2000 posts that use things like that - as if they need more attention drawn to their words!

anyway, i like the basic no frills setup that exists now.
