    Endless Maze - NyaaLabs

    Hi!

Our first game (well, my first game, because i'm still a one man company) is out now for ouya.

It's called Endless Maze and thats exactly what you get.
Just maze solving, nothing more, nothing less. Every level is bigger then the previous one. Endless! All level are procedurally generated.

I started this game this game in early 2012 for some kind of proof of work of how big levels are achievable on Android. Somehow it grew to an actual game.

    Here some screenshots:

downloaded and tried the game on hard. i got through about 12 levels before my wife looked at me and said "how did this become a game?"

i tried to explain to her that each level gets harder, and showed her the screenshots of the big mazes - she was not impressed.

i wasn't able to just go to a harder level, is that through my fault or do i have to do every easy maze in order to get to the really hard ones?

I imagined such comments would come.
After all its "just" a maze solving game and if someone isn't into that kind of game it can be a bit boring, i think. But thats true for other genres too.

About the bigger (harder) levels: At the moment you have to finish the smaller levels first to get deeper, but they grow bigger quite fast.
Maybe i implement a "jump" to level 50 or 100 later, if the users want that.

i didn't mean to be harsh about it (it reads a little harshly in the morning...). i did enjoy it for the few minutes i played. i do think a jump option would be nice.

    No offence taken.
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it!

I think i'll add such an option in the future.
