    Deadly Dungeons - Code Zombie

Haven't seen a thread for this: It's a first person dungeon crawler, I really enjoyed it on my Android Smartphone.

Sadly this video does not give it enough justice:

Also, sadly, the controls on the OUYA are very rough and uncomfortable. I'm not sure how to contact the developer but I'd be really happy if he was here to get some feedback.
I wish there was an option to rebind the controls on this game, it would have helped alot.

Deadly Dungeons is a first person RPG. This RPG is influenced by classic dungeon crawler games such as Dungeon Hack, Eye of the Beholder, and Nethack. After being separated from your adventuring party, you must navigate a deadly dungeon, and fight your way through hordes of creatures in a desperate attempt to escape alive. What first begins as a simple escape to the surface turns into a fight for survival, a confrontation with an ancient evil, and a descent to hell itself.

Hope the controls aren't too bad, this is my type of game!

Glad more rpgs/rogues/dungeon games are coming to the OUYA.

One more for the choir- tried the demo and could see some promise, but the controls were a deal breaker here, too. The interface for building a character, equipping items, just moving around, interacting with the world, is really bad as of right now.

I saw this today and instantly dowloaded it! Now I read that the controls are not good...bummer. Have you tried getting hold of the dev Murka? I know you're all active in the Twitter and things. GET TO IT!

Using the dpad for movement was not the smartest move as it's known to be inaccurate. They should have used the right analog stick. If you have a right and left attack, why not use the triggers?
Despite the control issues I do like this game and it was a surprise. I'm just kind of bumbling through it now but I could get into this. It's eerie atmosphere can spook you on occasion and from the screenshots there's more to it that just endless dungeons. Yes, a pleasant surprise.

I'M EDITING MY COMMENT AFTER 30 mins of PLAY:

    So I seen that:

    -Dpad moves the player
-left stick uses objects from inventary
-right stick gives the possibility to look around
    -triggers are for casting spells.

Sincerely, this is NOT a bad control system.
However, Ouya pad isn't so good with Dpad, so I suggest to:

*leave the possibility to the player to looking around with Dpad
*use the LEFT stick for player movements
*use the RIGHT stick for inventary objects use.
*using rear triggers for shitf laterally in LEFT and RIGHT directions

    An another important thing:
    Add the xbox360 pad compatibility!
(my pad has bluetooth problems, I'm waiting for a RMA)

    P.s.
thanks for that cool game on Ouya!!
Your game is REALLY good, but needs those things IMHO
    Keep up the good work!

Nice to see a game in the vein of Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder appear on the Ouya. Seeing alot of good games coming to Ouya, now we need a bigger hard drive.
