    It occurs with the other emulators and games as well. Not just Yoshi's Island.

    Can someone who doesn't have this issue confirm his / her Ouya's idle RAM usage?

    I'm getting this problem as well with snes9x and md.emu. last time i just had the options menu of "Quackshot" running (listened to it's great Soundtrack via Soundtest) and like after 10-15 minutes the sound began to crackle and the games started to have framedrops and crackling sound. only doing a hardreset helped.

    Make sure that you configure the maximal ammount of processes under the developer options to 0 or 1.
    Also if you have any issues with a specific rom try different emulators.
    There is no perfect emulator so keep the best ones and select the one which works the best with the game.

    It wasn't a issue until last ouya update, they screwed something up.
