I voted 'Lemegeton Master Edition'. Nice Action/RPG game. Just recently I downloaded "Cars & Guns 3D" which I would have voted for but It wasn't selectable.
That's right son...
Might as well make a thread called. "Your Favorite OUYA game At The Moment for the month of July. Game of the month does not sound right for how this operates. It's really not game of the month. Every other site that does game of the month, labels games that came out for that month.
Just my opinion.
So far: (have voted above)
I've played my OUYA more than my XBox this month - in fact, the XBox hasn't been switched on. The OUYA is more fun. But more than that, it's got charm... and it doesn't sound like a vacuum cleaner - unlike the 360.
Anyway, I'm quite harsh on games in general so they have to have considerable merit for me to rate them highly (Oooh how snobby do I sound hehehe)
In terms of hours played:
The Bard's Tale. This game is great and has seen several till 3am plays. It has an optional Hi-Rez texture pack or standard textures (I downloaded hi, then reinstalled and chose lo for the sake of my SD card) Funny story, surprising and interesting.
Muffin Knight. This game is adorable (although the music is a tad repetitive, they should sort that out) Had a blast with it.
ShadowGun. At first, I had a problem with the controls - too far from the OUYA, lag starts to creep in. I also thought it was a cheap Gears-Of-War knock off.. however after putting some time into it, it's got something GOW never had for me.. I actually care what happens. The main character is a likeable person, funny and honest.
Polarity. The screenshots scream Portal Knock off. But when you play it, it starts to show you it's own personality. From the neon lighting effects giving everything a Tron-like aesthetic to the sometimes devilish puzzles. Unfortunately, the author doesn't have the same resources as Valve to polish the experience, but it's still a great game - if a little unforgiving at times.
DIG! is a nice little short spurt distraction, well worth the money. It can become repetitive but for a time killer, it's plenty fine.
Giana Sisters I'd never played the C64 version but thanks to the OUYA version, I also purchased Twisted Dreams on Steam.
Each of these games has my money. I truly believe that the model works and I certainly feel that I'm getting my money's worth.
