The whole parking lot thing is making them look bad....
From the OUYA Dev Newsletter today:
Survey Time - Want to Join OUYA in Vegas?
OUYA will be at the GameStop conference in Vegas for three days, 8/26 to 28, and we’d like to have a similar setup as our E3 experience, and once again invite you all to come demo your games to the audience there. Similarly to E3, it would be up to you to make your way to Vegas, but we would handle setting up your gear and making sure you’re fed and hydrated while showing off your game. Email Jared at jared@ouya.tv if you’re interested and think you could come - he will be gathering the info to see if we have enough interested devs to really blow this out!

What would be wrong with them acting just a little bit more like a legitimate console. Oh I know, they'll just set up in another parking lot, that will convince everybody that they're here to stay.
Maybe some magazine ads, or a solid youtube campaign. Just try a little harder to make OUYA look less like a system by homeless bums, for homeless bums.
true statement, it shouldn't matter where the event is, as long as gamers hear and experience the ouya. Then when they get noticed they'll level up from parking lot to indoors and start singing "Started From The Bottom Now We're Here!".

And when they don't, 10 years from now OUYA will still be the butt of jokes for being homeless bums crashing parking lots with their lame me-too setup.
Want publicity, start up 'Indie-expo' instead of crashing other people's stuff, or for far less effort, freaking *pay money* for a booth.
