    When does the shop update?

Does it update constantly? Is there a certain day or time to look for new games and such? Will we ever get to a new game that we don't originally see in the sandbox?

When a developer hits the "publish" button, the game goes onto the store instantly. So new games could arrive any time

As for the order the games are listed in, it changes constantly as well, but the numbers behind the scenes controlling that mean that there might be a position change somewhere on the store maybe once an hour or a few times a day? My "Play" list order changes fairly frequently based on what I've just been playing (and for how long!) and the store uses a similar mechanic, only for everyone's playing habits, rather than just yours personally

The store won't change though while you're browsing it. You need to exit the store / go back to the OUYA home page, give it a minute, then re-enter.

As for the sandbox, if you don't go digging through it, you'll not find the game until it gets out of the sandbox. The irony being, once out of the sandbox, if you're not featured, you end up hidden away in one of the categories, making your game less visible!

The categories (such as "Ben's Playlist" or "Bawb's pickz!") are fixed at the moment. They can only be updated by OUYA adding them in as part of a system update

Thanks for the explanation James :-) I sort of figured updates were more or less random. IMO the store layout is a total mess. I wish there was an option to give us a list or smaller tiles. As it is now I think its going to be a nightmare to navigate as they add more content. Its even more annoying to have to scroll through installed games on the console in the same manner. I love this thing, but I think the GUI is terrible in its current form.

I'd argue the UI is excellent in terms of navigation and performance, but sucks in terms of layout (as in what items are where) and aesthetics

i would love to see some kind of "no" pile. an option to put a game in which i have no interest into a place where i wont have to scroll through it to see other games. the sandbox is annoying, scrolling over twenty or thirty tiles and then scrolling back more slowly just IN CASE there is something i missed. and there usually is.

This really seems to need a "Newest" area to list everything in order of release instead of a random order. This area is the number one area I check in the PlayStation store. There is just too much to check all around the other categories.
