When I saw the news I also wondered about the Fez Ouya port. Apparently fish says he is leaving the game industry all together (but who really knows...)
Everyone is going to have their own opinion and if this guy quits producing games because of some criticism thats his loss. I'm pretty sure someone will take his place and finish Fez II AND the OUYA version of Fez.Originally Posted by Jake53

I have no idea what went down there, but unless there are some spectacular circumstances about...I say good riddance.
I think there's more to the story than this. He seriously didn't just cancel a game because he was 'made fun of'. No.... That's too stupid...
Meh, probably a good idea for him to get away from the lime light and relax a little bit. Maybe in a year or two he will be back and refreshed and start developing in secret.
I wouldn't really call a lot of what game developers have to put up with as "criticism" though. Honestly, it is often times just trolling.

A lot of this so called criticism is mainly trolling, and many times it goes beyond the line.
Constructive criticism is good, useless trolling is not. And I can see why devs get put off by this crap.
Normally I agree but Fish's behavior is usually the subject of criticism not the quality of his work. From his constant hammering on Microsoft long after he shared his thoughts publicly to his offhand racist statement about the Japanese the guy has had difficulty keeping his mouth shut.
