Hi Guys,
My name is Tommy, and we are Retrosoft Games, a small indie(husband and wife team).
I've been told, by the Enigmatic Overlord of this forum, that this is the thing to do when releasing a game for OuyaSo here goes(I'm no salesman, so please be gentle).
We've just gone live on Ouya with Marble World. Marble World has been around for a while on other platforms, but we made an effort to make it refined and special for Ouya.
At it's core, Marble World is a marble physics platformer, in a whacky colorful world. Here is one of our original videos(we'll make a dedicated Ouya one soon, I promise):
Please note, that the dynamic shadows shown in the video, for the marble, are currently not available on Ouya, but the level shadows are the same. We are still trying to find a good algorithm for rendering them fast and generally make the game look better over time and more performant. The screenshots on the store and on the ouya site are the best guide
Based on feedback and popularity, we will update the game in the future to include the editor, that was used to make the levels(which includes a web share of levels function), and more premium levels. Because the level editor would initially be experimental, we'd also like some feedback on how people think we should roll it out. It would be eventually included in the purchase price etc.
The game is $1.99.
Anyway enough from me, thank you for listening(reading?).
Tommy.
