    Battle High 2 A+

    New thread is here: http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?...ttrified-Games

I made a 2D fighting game called Battle High: San Bruno about a year or two ago for #XBLIG and I released a sequel, Battle High 2, in March.

I'm trying to convert the game to Unity3D so I can release it on multiple platforms, OUYA being one of them. Progress is going a bit slower than I'd like, but it's coming along. I'm also trying to add more features to make the game more enjoyable for single-player fans in case I can't get networking working. I'm adding the A+ as a joke with how most fighters have tons of updates for the same game; I don't want to call this 3 because I'm not making any major updates to the gameplay or cast.

    Here's some progress shots:

    Additional features include:

    • 3D Backgrounds
    • Updated / Remixed Soundtrack
    • Improved Input Management
    • Improved AI
    • A Challenge Tower inspired by Mortal Kombat 9 of sorts
    • Online Multiplayer *fingers crossed*
    • EX Versions of Existing Characters

Anyway, as I make progress, I'll post more screenshots and videos here, but I'll also provide more information on my blog as well.

Holy crap yay! Ouya needs a fighting game. I've just been playing old ps1 games on the emus. MvC/SFA2. Would be awesome to have an ouya made fighting game
I'm amazing, you probably just haven't realized it yet.

I hope that this is still in progress as I have the 360 original game and it's a blast to play. Very fun indeed. It would be well worth having on the Ouya system. Here's hoping that the project hasn't been abandoned as if it plays as well as the original, it's a day 1 release purchase for me. I wish I had seen this thread sooner because now I'm all jazzed about it.

As far as I know from following him on Twitter, he's still working on it.

Well, at least he's still working on it. Needs to come over here though and give us an update! I can't wait to get this one as the 360 game was really well done.

I can confirm that he's worked on it a bit in the last week or so. The conversion's not as easy as most would think, from what I hear.

I know Matt's not posted anything here in a while but here's some vids he's done within the last month of the progress of getting this working on Unity.
