    Thank you, NZ.

To all, please go back to the topic at hand. Appropriate actions will be taken otherwise.

I just got that issue the other day and thought the review was actually pretty balanced. They stressed the potential of the system and some of the positives, and didn't dwell on the emulator issue. Their main gripes (from what I recall) with the system were the unorganized UI and lack of major system-selling games. I thought it was pretty fair. A bit harsh, but fair.

I just hope a sub-par score doesn't dissuade too many people from buying and enjoying the console.

I just barely got the E3 edition in the mail a few days ago so I think it will be a while before I get it. I couldn't seem to find a link to the review online either so if anyone has it I'd like to read up on it. thanks

The OUYA forum has become so large that even Search doesn't get me to where I need to be.

Are you and others refering to Game Informer's 7-25 interview of Julie (that unfortunately provides a link to Verge) or is there an August review in Game Informer mag?

@TripleXXXBalla are you in the US or elsewhere? No need to say if you'd rather not, of course.

The latest issue has a review of the system itself. I forget what month it is listed as, but it has Dragon Age: Inquisition as the cover story.

Thanks, you told me what I wanted to know! Dragon Age: Sept 2013, digital avail some countries, print mailed out to most by now. I don't have it.

Re: Game Informer reviews OUYA next month

The review seems fair, considering the intent of the device per Ouya was a mass market device. Had the intent been more niche focused (as it appears to be now by consumers, regardless of intent), perhaps the review and score perspective would have been higher.

    Ouya Review in Gameinformer

Read the review in the new issue of Gameinformer. Have to say it was pretty fair. Though I guess I am one of that subset of hardcore games who like playing emulators on our tvs despite the questionable legality. I have to agree with their assessment that the Ouya is not a serious console contender. Be that as it may mine is getting a lot more play time than my 360 or PS3 which is boxed and ready for Craigslist. It will also keep me busy while I figure out which next gen offering is worth my support. All that for 99 bucks and an average 5 bucks a game. Call me hooked.
