USB wont work?

I've noticed I can't hotswap USB, lol. Whenever I d/c my external HDD I have to completely shut down the OUYA before connecting my HDD again otherwise it will just ignore it.

Same here. USB/HDD, regardless of file system, only recognised on first use or cold boot.

Try holding the power button on your ouya and shutting it off totally then insert card and turn it on.i had an issue with my hard drive in ntfs format.that made it discoverable.

you can unplug the device and reconnect it with ouya still recognizing it as long as you don't unplug the usb cord from the ouya.

Its like once you uplug the usb cord the drivers are removed, and you have to restart the system, at least this is how its working for me.

mine never worked. i cant get it see any usb or external hd at all

Flashdrives will always appear in the "usbdrive" folder at the root menu of the Ouya system. You have to have a file manager (Astro File Manager, Filepwn) to see those roms or an emulator that is specifically for that type of rom to see them.
Sometimes the USB port won't read flashdrives after you've plugged in a controller or a Mouse/Keyboard. If that's the case you must fully shutdown your Ouya and restart it.
