Remember how Pier Solar HD was, T2KFreeker? You thought the exact same thing and sure enough the game eventually got released. Have faith, my Atari Jaguar fan. It will come.

It is coming, you cannot expect an update every so often . Their last update was 1 month and 5 days ago.

I completely understand your concern, however, we're not just going to throw away all this work and not release it I am working hard on building the racetracks atm. It is a slow process, always reworking what we have so it is actually *fun*, and not "well, we've got some gameplay going, but it is rather meh". We want to have at least 8 of them at launch, and be a fun campaign to play. Then we'll concetrate on the multiplayer and making more tracks. At this point, it would be best for us to just say "it will be done when it's done". Given that we are 2 guys, with day jobs, we don't want to give any more deadlines we'll probably miss. But rest assured the developing of Hyperdrive eats up most of our free time

If you're concerned that we won't release it for Ouya, well, getting it run well on Android(even though we'll try to release for PC first through Greenlight) is a priority for us, since we want to get it on mobiles and tablets, that was the plan from the beginning. From there, porting it to Ouya is a piece of cake, relatively speaking. It wouldn't make sense for us *not* to do it, especially with all the support we've gotten here on this forum, which is much appreciated

I love futuristic racers. Will this have auto accelerate or an actual button for it?

For Ouya, it will of course have a button for acceleration, since the console has a proper controller. We'll have auto-accelerate probably for mobiles/tablets.

I'm actually curious what people think about adding powerslide/drifting, for use in "tricky" corners. I was thinking of dedicating a button(probably the L trigger) for that, making the vehicle to corner faster, but "slide" more, and also lose speed if it's held for long. Will it make the racing experience more interesting, or just the controls more frustrating?

Definitely more interesting because it'll allow you to incorporate more diverse level designs in the game.

    New gameplay video!

It presents the Desert Oasis track in its pretty much final form, and also at the start of the video you can see the pilots you can play as.

As coding is pretty much done, I've also started working seriously at last on the Android port, and it's going pretty well. We might post a video of the game actually running on Android/OUYA soon.

    Enjoy!
