Excellent. An update from a developer of a game I am interested in! I feel so much better now. At least someone listens! Thanx' a lot guys, really.
Most of the time I keep my OUYA offline: please consider it before inserting a phone-home/always online DRM in your game. If you still plan to do so, please declare it. You don't want pirates, I don't want to be frauded.

And a new gameplay video for the "Subzero" track
is this running on ouya so smooth? -> Instant Buy. Hope they can copy the perfect Wipeout "drive" physics.
IN PIXEL I TRUST
Everytime I see an update here it drives me nuts! Feels like I have been waiting for this one forever. Instant buy for me!
Just found this thread despite its age and popularity. The game looks good and peaks my curiosity.

Been watching but haven't said much of anything. Just watched the new video, looks good. F-Zero flashbacks...
...Aaand we've at last completed all the initial 8 race tracks. If the game meets some success, we'll probably release some additional in the form of expansion packs.
Right now we only have the local(split-screen) and online Multiplayer portion to complete, and we're good to go
Our plan is to release a free demo/trial with a couple of tracks and vehicles, to do some quick racing, and offer the full game for some value.
Anyway here's the last one, the War-torn City:

And a disclaimer about the visuals, once and for all, since it's been asked so many times: The game is for PC, mobiles/tablets, and the OUYA console. Naturally, the "promotional" videos must look their best, so we're recording them
on a PC. Aside from that, the Android/OUYA port(made with Marmalade, so we get to keep using the same C++ codebase for that too) is going well, it's just going to be a bit downgraded when it comes to dynamic lighting/reflections/particles etc.
The tracks though will be the same. I think that's understandable, given that the OUYA, hardware-wise is less performant than even the new Tegra4 tablets. However, we are commited to releasing the game for our small Android console in any case![]()
