    Foresight - Matt Oakes

    Hi everyone,

My Ouya app Foresight has just been released onto the store.

    Introduction
Designed exclusively for Ouya, Foresight allows you to view local weather forecasts directly on your television.

Using the Forecast.io API (created by the developers of Dark Sky for iOS) it provides minutely, hourly and daily forecasts. Not all locations support the minutely resolution, however Foresight will always give you the more accurate data which is available.

Looks really cool. Will be using that. Looks like it gives quite a bit of relevant info
I'm amazing, you probably just haven't realized it yet.

It needs to include the State as well as the county. It's not very helpful when you enter your town and it lists several and you don't know which one to pick. I ended up trying by zip code and that only listed one place in the US so I am assuming I have the right one now.

I was working under the assumption that the town and country name would be enough, but I guess because of the size of the US you have multiple towns with the same name. I'll look into adding some way of differentiating them

Just a quick heads up that I've attempted to fix this problem in the latest build, which is currently awaiting acceptance by the Ouya team. The search results now display a map of the location so you can tell where the location is. Hopefully this will be sufficient to pick the correct location! The update will be available as soon as it's accepted.

I like the look of the interface but $4 seems a bit much for what it does.

I'm still playing around with the pricing. Along with the changes to location the new update also introduces a pay what you like system, where you can choose how much to pay. That starts at 99c and works it way up. Until that is released, I will be dropping the price down to $1.99 :-)
