The GPU by its very function results in a need for power and the byproduct is heat and power consumption. That is the hottest running component and the reason many 360s fried and motherboard based graphics are conservative in design. They get hot, so more comparable specs are not practical for chipsets designed for being portable and in small devices to manage heat dissipation.
