The way that it works now, if you collected all the metadata and your situation came up, you would simply delete the .info file for the ROM, change the ROM name and the run the metadata fetch in "fetch missing mode". This mode will only try to fetch missing covers and metadata. It could still be slow if there are a lot of covers missing but not nearly as slow as fetching everything.

I am working on a ROM menu for the menu that will let you do a very micromanaged fetch of a single title. With it you will be able to delete info files and covers, rename the ROM file, fetch and validate each step of the fetch. It will be part of Nostalgia 2.0

Hey! Loving the direction this app is heading. Screenshots look great. Waiting for the .EMU emulators to be supported before I actually buy it. but tried the demo for ePSXe today.

For some reason it won't fetch the cover art for the games. Keeps saying "www.thegamesdb.net not available, cover art will not be fetched." I double checked the site on my PC and on the Ouya browser. It's loading up fine on both. Any ideas?

Also, a thought just occured, will there be an option for choosing your region for systems? Would much rather use the European Mega Drive cover art than the American Genesis version.

    Cheers

Thegamesdb issue is a bug that was introduced this weekend by a ddos protection product the site stated using. The fix is already in the next version so grab that as soon as it hits the store. As far as region specific cover art goes, the source doesn't provide a region code but you can do it manually if you want to with version 1.5

I'm dissapointed with 1.5 and hoping its not the end of your game search/management plans.
The point of using folders is to sort your games.
If all this will do is scan and flatten the structure, why use folders?
I was hoping for filtering ability, whether using the folders or with other metadata.

Sorry to disappoint stello. This is of course not the end of state of Nostalgia's rom management. I thought it was a reasonable enough update to get it out to users. If you would like version 1 again, I can send it to you and you can use that until version 2 is released.

I love the idea of this app and I'm really looking forward to more emulators becoming compatible. I just got the update, but I'm still not getting any cover art for N64

You aren't getting any art at all? Send me an email at zamastyle.development at gmail and tell me what options you are using and I will try to get your situation sorted out.

Hi, version 1.5 seems to have a major bug that when you try and switch between formats using L2 or R2 it just shows the Nostalgia splash screen...can't get anything else to display!
