How did you rip the disc image? If you rip it in the right format it shouldnt spit out a bunch of files. Email me a screenshot of the file list for one of these games so I have a better idea of what you are dealing with.
Hey Dra6onfire, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I haven't been around in a few days. I didn't personally rip them, my brother did and he doesn't really know what he's doing. Basically the zipped archive he gave me, using Mortal Kombat 3 as an example, had Mortal Kombat 3.cue and Mortal Kombat 3 (Track 01).bin x 64, meaning there are 64 .bin files ranging from Track 01 to Track 64.

I found a way to convert them from that into 1 .bin and 1 .cue file, but Nostalgia still shows it as 2 of the same game, I believe.

I think I am going to set it to ignore .cue files for this reason. I could be very wrong on this but in my experience, back in the day when I was trying to burn these images .cue files were important because they contained some important information for the burn but now that I am just using them from disc they don't seem to be. I actually deleted all of my .cue files for psx games a long while back and have had no problems just running with the .bin files. I would suggest you test and see if you have the same results.

You are doing something wrong then, in my experience using nostalgia with the epsxe emu it only shows 1 file, and the que file is important, take crash team racing as an example, I tried it without the .cue file and a lot of the audio doesn't work in game.

Interesting. I will have to put some more thought into the psx processing then. I assume that the cue file is the one you would want to execute with the emulator then.

Also can I make a suggestion, get rid of the game info part and put more space for game covers, when you have a lot of roms and only 6 displayed per page it takes ages to get down the list. You should be able to bring up the game info on a button command instead of it permanently displayed, gives you more room to fit the game list.

Also quite a few of my mega drive roms had wrong covers and descriptions.

Shoot me some of those misses by email with the original filename and what Nostalgia decided it was. The more examples the better.

I had a feeling something was wrong...I don't mind taking the time to convert the files, it's just really annoying. This is happening with about 30-40 of the 85 or so games I have, most not ripped by myself.

so after a bit of testing now the consensus is n64oid is pretty rubbish on ouya. can't map the right analoug and multiplayer doesn't work

missus is annoyed lol so we have to stick with mupen for that for now.

hopefully paul can work with you to get mupen working with this.

also i agree about the cover art, more room for it and have an option to select for the info, or possibly do like XBMC and have a view different views?

    Love this app...

    some wishes:

    - Is it possible to add a alternative listing system? The game list on the left and the cover + infos of the selected game on the right?
    - The System-Name on the top would be nice.
    - Some games are without cover and/or they are detected wrong (example: Balloon Kid for GB is detected as Kid Dracula). It would be nice if I could pick the right one from a list
    - and of course: more supported emus!

All of the above are planned to be addressed once I am settled and can get back to work on the app. Thanks for the input!
