Not bad. Just out of curiosity how experienced are you in making pixel art?

ya know i'm not that good at it, i've been doing it for a while and read/watched tutorials on it but just can't seem to grasp going from pencil on a pad to using a track pad on a laptop.

If you have any tips on getting better then i'm more then happy to listen, it's the shading i struggle with and it's hard to say to an artist please make all my graphics when i love drawing art on paper.

Well I know of a tutorial that can get you into the right mind set for doing pixel art.

Just spent all night looking through that and trying to make my original design actual pixel art, i realised i do pretty much all the things to avoid on pretty much all art work for games i do so it's nice to know were i was going wrong.

It said to start with a small pallete so i found a 16 colour one and i've changed my character Tom Bottom added Anti Aliasing and all those other neat tricks but all while using just these colours.

    what you think?

i think the quick time events would be all right, as long as there not in between cutscenes. thats usually the ONLY time im not ok with quicktime events.

Just saw this game and I'm looking forward to seeing it in action. I like the artstyle of the main character aswell. Keep up the good work :-)

Also any idea when you would expect to release it? Would love to feature it for you in my Ouya series.

Thanks for the comment, I think I'm going to give the QT events a miss now as not sure how I would implement them.

Thanks for your interest, currently I'm reading through lots of tutorials so I can make the graphics as I want, it's a long road. I'm stuck with a few things regarding how I want this game to be played, I did think of scores and timers but then felt it may take away from the art feel of the game, then thought of just a visual timer instead, I'm not sure what to do at the moment.

Once I can work it out I reckon it won't take very long to finish the first version. Looking at releasing near Christmas. I'd be very happy for you to cover it in any way even an interview if you want to know more.
