Be nice to have a video made on the OUYA rather than a tablet, so we can see how much better it is on TV / with controllers
Ballistic SE is an intense, arena-style twin-stick arcade shooter. It features an endless waves mode, 5 unique 2-minute challenges, and 10 customizable enhancements.
In the trial, you can play through 15 waves in Waves Mode and 1 of the 5 challenges. 2 of the enhancements are also locked in trial mode. It's $2.99 to unlock the full game, and progress is saved in the trial version too.
You may have seen it on other platforms like XBLIG, PC/Mac, iOS, and Android. But the OUYA version is probably the best version, because it looks great on an HDTV, plays best with a dual-stick controller, and Ballistic SE is just a lot better balanced than the original XBLIG version. Ballistic SE is a singleplayer-only game.
[Old trailer removed, I'll do an OUYA version someday when I have time]
If you have any questions or problems, just let me know.

Yes... the ouya needs to shake off the "phone games on a TV" image.......... vids like that dont help.......
OUYA needs to rise above that....... maybe putting all that stuff in its own section on the discover menu, and "made for OUYA" in the other half of discover.........
Just bought these on Google Play last week. Do I really need to pay again if I want it on the Ouya?
Also, they were $1.99 on Google Play, why a $1 more on the Ouya?
Thanks,
Whiteice
This game looks pretty fun--fun enough to power the ouya on for (and that sometimes feels like quite a chore).
There's a lot more competition on the google play store, and it's been out there for longer (I'd assume). I think $3 could be a very good price for this, assuming the demo meets my gameplay and control expectations.
I've been hurting for a good shooter, and this certainly looks like a solid candidate.

No offense, but the game was made for a dual-stick controller and a large TV originally. I know the difference between a phone and a TV, and the game is much better on a console. Lots of people just like hardcore games on phones too even though they're not ideal. If OUYA had existed a few years ago, Ballistic SE and my other games would have been on there first.
I'll remove that video since you guys seem so thrown by it.
As for the price: Unfortunately yes, you would have to pay again. My games are priced very reasonably ($3 or less in general), and the quality is very high. If this was an "OUYA-only" game, it would be $9.99.

Come on, guys. These are fantastic games. They were made FIRST for Xbox 360 so these are not mere "phone games.". WELL WORTH the $2.99 IMHO. I own them both on the Xbox360 and have no qualms buying them on Ouya the second I get home today.

I just tried this out on my lunch break, Very good game, I was excited to find out about this and inferno+. I had never heard of them. I will probably buy inferno first...it's more my style and pick up Ballistic later.
Thanks Luke for bringing these to the Ouya.
BTW, I think it was only a few folks criticizing the vid, not the whole forum.
Dont know whats the cause of negative feedback. I need to try these games, but from the looks so far, they look like great games compared to most of the beginners waste time crap found in the sandbox.
