I spent the last few nights retooling the innards of the app for SMB compatibility. It really wasn't the simple extension I was hoping it would be, and there's still quite a bit of work left. But as long as I can get some free time I hope to have the feature added in the next month or so.

In the process of retooling for SMB compatibility, I may have solved this problem. I'm guessing it takes a really long time to open a folder with several hundred files, so it was probably an "app not responding" exception. I moved the long running process to a background thread so it won't hang. Can probably get an update out in the next week.

I have a weird finding, when i transfer images from dropbox to the download folder on the ouya, then use filepwn to move elsewhere, next time i go back to the download folder there is 0 byte 'ghost' images of the files still there, nothing major as i just delete these, but not sure whats making these.?

Transfer images using FilePwn? Or using the DropBox client?

Does this happen with any other folders, or just the download folder?

Transfer using dropbox, but use filepwn to move the image files elsewhere either on the ouya or external hdd.

Sounds llike cache. If you restart your ouya they should be deleted automatically.

Phew this is taking longer than I had hoped. Been making the most of this snow day at home, trying to integrate the SMB functionality. Basically the task at hand is the coder's equivalent of lifting a house off its foundation, replacing the foundation with a new one, setting the house back down, and reconnecting all the wires and plumbing... all without breaking any of the china in the house. The real challenge is that all the file operations in SMB must be done on a separate thread -- even simple stuff like testing whether an item is a file or directory. So it's not just a matter of wrapping things in a common interface.

Long story short, this may take a few more weeks for me to finish. I'd really hate to rush something out and accidentally break any of the existing functionality.

Agreed. Take your time anything worth doing is worth doing right.

Is there a way to decompress .zip?

If not, its addition in a future update would be invaluable. The light of the heavens would shine down and all would rejoice

No, currently not, but it's on the list (see first post). I've been working on network storage but it's been slow going. This isn't my day job and it's been tough finding the time.
