    N64 Emulator, and Japanese Roms.??

I am having an issue getting Japanese Rom to work on the marketplace N64 emulator. Is this an issue with the emulator? The settings? Do Japanese N64 Roms require a different EMU? The game in question is Densha De Go! My son loves trains, but I am having no luck getting it to work. I also have tried the Densha De GO MAME roms, but can not find an emulator that will run them.... Help with either or advice would be much appreciated and make my little Engineer very happy.

Most likely doesn't run under that emulator, trouble is when they get a N64 emulator running, the games that have glitches and get fixed first are the more popular ones, obscure ones tend to get left to last or not at all, I imagine it might work on another PC emulator.
Could always try a PS1 version of the same game.

That's a shame.... would love to use the N64 version as I know I would have Nintendo Densha controller option via wii-mote.

Or sideload N64oid that might run it

You gotta mess with the video in the plug-in. Most games on the N64 requires you to mess with that area to get them to work or looking normal. That is if you are using Mupen64 Plus AE Emulator from the Ouya store. Good/Free Emulator btw.

I have tried N64oid, and all three plugins that came with MUPEN64 none will run the Densha de Go, when you try you just get a black screen. I can't get the MAME Densha De Go! roms to work on sideloaded MAME player MAME4droid either. haven't tried the PS1 port yet, as I haven't gotten epsxe yet......but right now Densha de Go! is a no go....and Trainz Driver is not working either.........oh was really hoping to finally get some train sims on my TV for my son. Maybe will just have to wait for Steambox.

Oh, it's one of those games that won't work. That sucks. Well then, I know the PSX version will work given that everything I've tried on it does.

I think it probably could work though, but there's not enough attention for a niche title for someone to figure out the reason and fix it.....I am realistic enough to know there's just not a Huge number of Railfan+retro+emulator fans for it to be a focus... I hope so to on the PSX, that might be better as well since I know Playstation controllers will work with ouya, and there's a bunch of easy to obtain Densha controllers for PS consoles etc. I do think N64 would look better though. Thanks for input, if anyone knows a pltform that Densha De Go! will play on with the Ouya I'd love to hear it.
