Thanks Aurélien, I tried Tainted Keep and it works perfectly so I bought Blood Sword as well and it's another Shield game that works perfectly. It's working out that the best Ouya games may be sideloaded Nvidia Shield games. Blood Sword is only 99 cents too.

Has anyone tried The Dark Knight Rises (tdkr)? I transferred the apk to Ouya and put it on /sdcard and the app logo shows in Ouya/Make. I moved the obb files to /sdcard/android/obb. Rebooted Ouya when I launch it I get a quick spinning cirle then a black screen. I only wait about 30 seconds on the black screen before I go back to the home screen. I have not waited longer than that for other sideloaded games?

BTW, over on xda/ouya/develpment there is a apk to root your Ouya with no pc or adb involved. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2387507

I've been playing around with some apps since I got my Ouya. Have been trying testing lots of different apps to see what I could get working. Thought i'd share my results so far, since the OP doesn't include versions or links some people might find this useful:

Reddit News 6.84: Removed Link.
This is probably the best Reddit app i've found, it works best with the Ouya. There are some bugs... the side-menu stays in the background when you close it but not a big problem.

BaconReader Premium 3.0: Removed Link.
Another Reddit app. It works but you have to untick the box in settings that displays the reader in iPad format. Personally I don't like navigating throughout this app as much as Reddit News.

Hotmail 7.8.2.10.48.1206: Removed Link.
Seems to work perfectly.

Pocket 4.3.6: Removed Link.
Works perfectly from what I can tell.

Facebook 1.9.7: Removed Link.
Works perfectly.

YouTube 4.5.17: Removed Link.
Works but with some bugs. You can't login to your account.

Dolphin Browser 8.7.0: Removed Link.
Works but doesn't recognise most of the controller buttons and no back button, only way to go back is to use the gesture. There might be a better version, not sure. I couldn't get the latest versions working, get stuck at introductory screen.

ES File Explorer 3.0.5.1: Removed Link.
Work perfectly.

Apps that I couldn't get working: Twitter, Twicca, Carbon Twitter, Plume, Instagram, Crunchyroll.
*4 out of 4 twitter apps not working... not sure if there is a working one.

Did you download these from tegra zone direct to Ouya or did you download to your phone and then transfer the apk to Ouya?

Works perfectly on OUYA (but in the 1920*1080 it makes 8fps, LOL)

from the developer:

"This is a GLES 2.0 Shader Demo which can be used to benchmark your GPU Fragment Shader Performance. It won't reflect your devices performance in real games. Some devices with a non unified shader GPU (eg. tegra) perform much slower because this is the worst case scenario for them. This benchmark uses the maximum resolution of the device, so tablet devices (or the galaxy nexus for instance) doesn't perform good. This benchmark is meant to measure the raw fragment shader performance for a full screen resolution.
It's quite demanding, so it won't run on older devices.
Makes heavy use of the fragment shader."
