I've recently have been posting in Unofficial Support a lot due to the fact that I think I'm capable of helping members now that I am accustomed to my OUYA and I gotta say... Some people need you to hold their hand and that's fine as it's what we're here for. Although (like the others have said) people who want you to press on their chest to deflate their lungs and blow in their mouths to re-inflate them need to stop. I mean seriously, the guides are there for a reason. USE THEM!

I'm thinking about making a universal emulator thread in the guides section that will explain everything. It will save both sides some headaches.

But like I said if you upset people by being a forum nazi they will not come back and there are so many OUYA forums that want your business..

Last time I checked a forum is not a business, it a community thing. And as well, the last time checked each and every ouya forum I've seen has had rules you need to follow, with every forum you search first then post if you can not find a topic about your question.

But people have to learn that not everyone knows the answer, be a bug a boo about it will piss a lot more people off then the person Being annoying about trying to find a answer.

I like to try to help people, when they start being annoying I don't even bother any more.

I know this isn't exactly on topic but kind of since we are discussing the rules. I think a section pertaining to posting apks/sddata needs to be added. Pretty much all the posts where someone does post one or wants to post one says ''idk if i'm allowed to do this'' or along those lines. The only one mentioned is devs can post apks but there isn't a hint on if legal apks are ok to post or just no apks at all.

From what I understand... Google Play store links are allowed, free apps(that are actually free) are allowed as long as it's not a warez site, the APK's developer's website that host the file are allowed. Anything else is off-limits.

All in all I think we're doing just fine. Hanging out in chat as much as I do, I have one camp of members telling me that we moderate too much and another camp telling me that we don't moderate enough. Granted, these "camps" are only 2-4 members is size. The majority seem to be in the middle with a "Meh, it's fine" idea about it so I think we're alright.
