That smells like disaster in my opinion. Besides, the site is unofficial. Involving OUYA wouldn't make it so.

Companies like OUYA prefer to have unofficial forums. It's like free help LOL.

I don't think it should be a problem. I am in contact with just about all the developers on OUYA, and I'm sure the majority of them would love a bit of free advertising, which is what putting a game on sale is.

If there must be a subscription service, I think that exclusive content and deals from developers is the way to go. Not only will subscribers get something worthwhile from their money, and it won't require taking already existing functions away from free users keeping them happy, it will be a massive help for developers to gain awareness about their games and build rep via giving away free things or price reductions.

Developers could also post exclusive video content about their WIP's or screenshots for a little while, which I think is a cool idea.

I would be happy to support this idea, yeah. I already have some content of my game sitting on my laptop waiting to be showcased at some point.

Anyway, it's just a thought but seems like a nice idea
I mentioned this in the chatbox but I just wanna say it here so it's on record. As cool as this sounds you're basically making a subscription service for games that the forum gets all of the profit from and basically sidesteps ouya on sales. Which is something they do not want at all. So I'm not sure how this would work out in the long run. And to make a code system of the sites own would be a lot of work since you can't make single unlock codes or a special apk since those could be easily shared. So someone would have to do a lot of work and the developers would have to add that system to their apks. And like if Ouya does have a problem with this they could do something as easily as not allowing the apks to be approved or something idk.
I'm amazing, you probably just haven't realized it yet.

Ran a few forums in the past. Shouldn't be an option as in asking members.
Should have it and if someone wants to then they do it.
Usually that type of thing is covering server costs, etc so members are okay with helping.
Just my 2 cents and a bottle cap.
