Street Basket: One on One - Marco Giorgini Production

Hello everybody :-)
Just few words to tell you that, if you like basketball and you have on OUYA (you should!), there's a new game on store that may interest you: Street Basket: One on One.
It's one half of a court, two players, few rules kind of game - with first to 21 / 5 minutes play game type, that you can enjoy alone (against the CPU) or with a friend (*against* a friend).

You can play up to five match in a row for game session, for free, or you can unlock ultimited matches per session for 0.99c

Lol I was hoping someone developed a few sports games for the Ouya, this will be one of the first games I download!

I downloaded it late last night and played. Played again this morning. I like sports games so I'm excited to have this. I am finding rather hard to score baskets. Is there a trick to shooting? Timing?

Well, no real tricks - but keep in mind that everyone of the available players has got different skills - and that you should shoot better if you're near the basket and if you're towards it (even if the player rotate automatically) and if your opponent is not between you and the basket. I mean you can score anyway - but each of this things should increase your chances :-)

I would like to make some suggestions for improving this game. Hopefully the developers read this.

Suggestions:


1) make the game Two on Two full court.

2) give each character a unique special move that is activated with one of the unused buttons.

3) have a new Shooting mechanic that uses second analog stick for aiming.

4) feature new solo gaming modes like a shoot around and a dunk mode.

5) have a dunk system that gives points on dunk combo styles.

6) give each character a unique stat sheet on what they good at to also make them unique.

7) add a juke function. And pass function. Dive function.

8) make blocking more useful.

9) 3 point locations on the court that randomly spawn.

10) body gestures for knowing when to steal.
