Because Brutal Sports Football barely plays as American Football, even if you remove all the violence. I mean, there's a GOALKEEPER, and a goal that looks more like a soccer goal (I think the fact the game was developed by british people may have some effect on this, hehe).

Compare it with Mutant League Football on the Mega-Drive, that game is also a fantasy american football game with lots of violence, but it *does* play like american football.

Still, Brutal Football is damn awesome. A 1x1 remake of it on Ouya would be a sure-buy from me

Looks good apart from the helmets, if you can actual characters would look far better.

The gamers are showed by headgear. Based on how good the mission's wedding reception is, we will add fully cartoon gamers.

Thanks for all the great feedback guys. We're currently scoping out the time needed to add animated characters. We've also just completed our implementation of local multiplayer. This is a really cool feature that integrates seamlessly with the rest of the game. A couple screens below. Note all formation and play graphics are being redone so the ones shown are temporary.

Looks great to me, can't wait to give the game a try and while the animations would be great, I will just be happy to have a football game on the ouya!

It would be nice to have some animated players but the most important thing would be for the game to be fun to play.

Ok guys we're getting very close (hopefully within the next week) to submitting 4th & Goal for review. We've made a ton of changes and made the game a lot more fun to play. Here are a few screens. We will continue to update the game after release.
