    Exclamation Inferno+ from Radiangames

    Inferno+ is a twin-stick action-RPG-lite from Radiangames. Over the past 3 years, Radiangames created 7 XBLIG titles, 7 iOS/Android titles, and 5 PC/Mac titles (11 unique games overall). Inferno+ is the most popular of those games.

    The easiest way to describe the game is Gauntlet meets Geometry Wars. It features 40 levels (plus 8 bonus levels), 10 upgrades, and 4 ship types. You can also play Scorched Mode, where you use a preset ship to battle through a large level in 90 seconds.

    Here's the trailer for the iPad/iPhone version that gives a good overview of the gameplay:

    Inferno+ is coming to OUYA July 14th, the same day as Radiangames other release, Ballistic SE.

    Well, Inferno was on XBLIG (and so was Ballistic), so of course.

    But no direct ports, as I use Unity now, and the XBLIG versions are way too fill-rate intensive to work on Ouya. I have two already so far, and would only bring 6 total (have 7 games on XBLIG):

    XBLIG -> Ouya:
    Inferno -> Inferno+ (almost done, coming soon)
    Ballistic -> Ballistic SE (done, coming soon)

    Fireball -> Fireball SE (in Unity)
    Crossfire 1/2 -> Super Crossfire (in Unity)

    JoyJoy -> ? (needs to be ported to Unity)
    Fluid -> ? (needs to be ported to Unity)

    So two are done (basically), two would take a couple days each, and two require a full Unity port (at least 1.5 weeks each). If Ballistic SE and Inferno+ do well, I'll definitely bring Super Crossfire and probably Fireball SE. The other two: Depends on how much time I have.

    This is great news, I've been tempted to buy this on iPad for awhile but I never did because I'd prefer traditional controls for a game like this. Will definitely be giving it a purchase on Ouya though.

    I also wanted to comment that I'm a big fan of Slydris, if you bring that to Ouya (perhaps with a 2 player verses mode ), you will certainly be earning my cash.

    I'm really this is released today so that I can buy it. I keep watching for updates because I can't wait to try it out.

    Buying both as soon as I get home after work. These are EXCELLENT games for those that have not played them on XBLIG and should be immediate purchases for anyone who likes twin stick shooters. I for one will also be anxiously awaiting Super Crossfire as well (hint hint...). ;-)
