Not tried it myself but you might have to go into some bluetooth setting on your tablet and tell it to search for devices, see if it can pick up the controller.
If not, no idea it might not be possible with an ouya pad.
I haven't found this anywhere, so... can the ouya controller be paired to a tablet? For example, a nexus 10? I use that to play SG: Deadzone and with a controller it would be great. If it is possible, how is it done?

It pairs like any other bluetooth controller. I've paired mine with several phones, tablets and computers. There are some issues on my PC due to how the buttons map but other than that it works just like a normal BT controller.
Just hold the center OU button down until the two center lights blink just like when pairing with the Ouya itself. Then have your tablet scan for available BT devices and you're set.
Oh my god... I sinced it with the tablet and then it suddenly turn off... and won't turn on again. I've tried changing bateries but it doesn't work

Anyone else get this to work. I've tried on two android devices and they can't seem to find the controller to pair. What's the trick?
Interesting that simply pairing it with another device can kill the controller. Maybe they only allowed this on the very early controllers but changed something on the later ones to not allow it to connect because of this.
I tried pairing it to a Nexus 7 (2013). It pairs but it doesn't work right. On Respawnables, the dude just stays running in circles. On the emulators, one of the trigger buttons registers as an analog stick axis without me even touching it. No way to change it either.
I can't remember testing the PS3 controller, but I read that I need to root and install some mod or something like that.
You totally can get it runing. We use it with our Nexus 7 all the time. We even wrote an article on it - http://ouyabrew.com/the-many-uses-of-the-ouya-controller/
Yes, it can. I used it successfully on my Nexus 7 (1st gen, stock, noroot).
