Also, I have a USB SNES controller that works just fine. For some reason this USB NES just isn't recognized at all.

I have a gamemon FT8D91 USB hub which has a PS1/PS2, gamecube, original Xbox controller port.

I haven't tested any of the controller ports yet (have to dig the controllers out), I will post back when I have tested them.

Confirmed working with nes.emu, I was able to assign buttons no problem! I was rocking some nes 1942 and Castlevania, so much fun!

I tried 2 different usb nes controllers and 1 model worked but the other didn't. But even with the one that did work it just didn't feel the same as old school, so I bought an original nes controller with the usb adapter and it is awesome. I was not able to detect any input lag with nes.emu, I haven't tried emuya yet.

also I tried the retrolink usb N64 controller and I could not get it to work with the OUYA.

How did you assign the buttons? I took the plunge and bought a Ouya and I now have my retroport hooked up to my micro usb with an adapter, but I can't figure out how to configure the damn thing.

    ^ Nevermind.

I can confirm that the Ouya does indeed work with the RetroPort. Sweet.

    Thank god.
    These "remade" USB-Controllers are horrible..

I tried my Atari Retroport from RetroUSB. It kind of works in the menus and Robert Broglia's emulators. I used the C64.emu to test it. I say kind of, because it seems like pressing left on the joystick sends the dual commands "left+Y button" to the Ouya, as far as I can tell. This caused problems when trying to re-map the "left" direction in Broglia's emulators. The mapping always showed up as "none". All the other remapping worked, just "left" caused a problem. I solved this problem. One has to select the "remap left" menu option in Broglia's emulator with the touchpad using the mouse cursor! Then it all works fine.

I got it to work with a side-loaded UAE4ALL, after I made sure that in the SDL mapping options that can be accessed during loading of the emu, nothing is mapped to the Y-Button!

I have not tried two Atari retroports simultaneously yet. But I see no reason why it shouldn't work, at least in the emulators.

Tried using a 3 in 1 GC/PS2/cbox to usb with Pelican Universal....and no luck, I think it may be a power issue though.
