Does anyone else find it weird?

Sooo.... I remember the week before and of the Ouya's release, games were coming out like crazy. Everyday we would have at least 2 games come out. Ever sense the day the Sonic titles were on and off the marketplace I've yet to see anything new. Technical problem or on purpose? Is the Ouya team holding games? Was there a huge tech problem they have yet to tell anyone about? Does anybody know why games just stopped showing up on the marketplace?

Ehhh i think before the release devs rushed to hit the deadline. Now that its passed whats the point.

I think exactly as Broner says.

Before launch, developers were scrambling to get their games prepared for launch. Cutting plenty of corners (as can be seen in quite a few titles) for the sake of just getting the game ready and available for retail.

Now that the system is out, developers don't have any incentive to release their game right now.

Plus they still have to go through somewhat of an approval process. And this week being a holiday week ... OUYA folks might not be working. They are a pretty small company.

Since Sonic was off, the next day on the dev forums they declared they won't be releasing new games until Monday because of the July 4th Holiday. They were to take 4, 5, and the weekend off and will be back Monday the 8th.

I've been following TotalOUYA pretty much every day and according to their count, there are 220 apps/games on the store now, at release there was around 165 I believe, so that's a pretty good amount for two weeks.

Although the official OUYA website says 210, I think totalOUYA includes any and all, even ones that have been pulled, since they have both sonic games on there.

But I have also noticed days go by where no games come out, then the next day 8 come out. It will probably stabilize and become more consistent, 1-2 a day (some days with 0)

Sonic was on Ouya? I missed that? Bummer. I am assuming the Sonic 4 episodes? If so, I hope they return.
